Jodie Prigg

Jodie is a lifelong advocate for health and fitness, with a sporting background that began in basketball from an early age. She completed a Bachelor of Exercise Science at Southern Cross University in 2004 and has now worked in the health and fitness industry for 20 years. Over that time, she has managed a number of sporting and gym facilities and built a strong reputation as a highly successful personal trainer.

Since moving to Miles, QLD, Jodie recognised there was a real gap in the community for fitness classes, mums and bubs sessions, kids classes, and fitness opportunities for seniors. Wanting to create something meaningful and accessible, she hired the Lutheran Hall and began running classes for the local community. Unsure of what the response would be, her very first class, only one person attended. Within one month more than 100 people had signed up, and within a year that number had grown to more than 300.

Jodie is known for her supportive coaching style and her ability to inspire people who may never have felt confident or motivated to exercise before. She has worked with the general population, women, children, seniors, and mums and bubs, and is deeply passionate about improving people’s health, fitness, and quality of life through exercise, encouragement, and community connection.
